Grubs Snowline 8.5 Wellington boots

Snow is something that we’ve been seriously lacking around my neck of the woods this winter, but that hasn’t stopped me from slipping my feet into my pair of Snowline 8.5’s when the rain has been constant companion. The Snowline 8.5 combines Grub’s Insu-Foam technology with advanced 8.5 thermal engineering, which makes them comfort rated from -40 to 15 degrees and therefore warm and comfortable.

Comfort-wise, what I really appreciate about the Grub’s is that they’re not a tight fit around my feet, I like that air can circulate around my ‘slabs of meat’, and if they become too hot, I can simply roll down the neoprene tops. The Snowline 8.5’s are supportive too, I found that their Vibram Multisport sole made a real difference when walking, especially along stone strewn paths and pavements.  Their aggressive tread pattern is flexible which makes them good to drive in, yet strong enough to use with a spade.

If you like watching trials of any sort, the Snowlike 8.5's do a really good job of keeping my feet warm whilst stood still, which was lacking in my previous ‘normal’ rubber wellies. A friend has a pair of Snowlines, he told me that they’re an excellent boot for if you’re spending all day walking in boggy moors, especially during winter.  He can walk for miles in them in a day and hasn’t once suffered from blisters, which I can also testify to.

Overall the Grub’s Snowline 8.5 are a great, dependable pair of wellies that you should seriously consider.
